Happy Australia Day

Happy Australia Day to all wherever you are in the world! We are off to a galloping start – today we take Amber, Maggie and Will back to school so there is a flurry of ironing, name tagging and packing.

Wellington had a wonderful celebration this morning with Mr Noel Grimes, an amazing community volunteer and kind man - deservedly being awarded our citizen of the year for 2016.

Sunday was a fun filled family day at Burrendong Dam water skiing – beautiful weather – water like glass and even I had a ski and learnt to “Wake Board” on a surf board right behind the boat. I must admit that on my first go I swallowed a large amount of dam water as its very different to skiing - you have to put you weight on your front foot – weird sensation but lots of fun. Thank you to Al & Repo Milling and the gorgeous James, Emily and Oliver for teaching me. 

We had drinks, nibbles and the best rocky road with the Edwards family on the shores of the dam afterwards.
